Programs: Toddler
For the toddler group, which is subdivided into 3 separate classrooms, we begin to provide a weekly themed curriculum in addition to a daily routine, which consists of age-appropriate activities designed by our head teachers, who have early childhood education degrees. At the toddler stage, children are walking, running, and learning to be independent, while mastering important gross and fine motor skills. We encourage these skills and more, as they start learning the alphabet, songs, color, paint, and how to eat and drink on their own – at chairs and tables like the big kids!
We help toddlers learn and grow with
- Early exploration of letters, numbers, colors and more
- Daily read-aloud from favorite Children’s books
- Daily art project
- Teacher-lead song and dance
- Independent playtime
- Creative pretend centers
- Outdoor play, weather permitting
Our Toddlers:
- Nap at the same time on mats, with dimmed lights and calming music
- Eat on a classroom schedule, school-provided breakfast, lunch, and two snacks (request sample monthly menu here)
